Abuse Hotline - Florida Department of Children and Families

The Florida Abuse Hotline accepts reports 24 hours a day. Anyone who suspects that a child or vulnerable adult is abused or neglected needs to make a report. You can report online, by phone or by fax.

This group offers counseling services that are private. They help adults, children, families, couples, and groups. Sessions are available in English, Spanish, German, and Dutch. They accept insurance and have a sliding fee scale for those who qualify based on income. Help is available at different locations in the diocese, and you can also have video sessions. Lucha is for those dealing with domestic violence and human trafficking. There is free legal help for immigrants. You can get healthcare and mental health counseling. Eating Disorder Groups- National Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness

Florida Health Department in St. Lucie County provides Family Planning. Fees are based on a sliding scale fee for those who are uninsured.

The Healthy Families Florida program is run by the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida. It is a program that helps families and teaches parents. It is for parents who are expecting a baby or have a new baby and are facing tough times. The program teaches parents and connects them with people in their community who can help. This way, parents can make a safe and stable home for their children. Helpers visit families at home, and joining the program is completely optional.
